My Lifestyle photography is natural and true – I photograph the seasons of life and all the joys God gave us for free. There is a deep warmth in my heart when I see a child laugh until they cry, the bond between a father and son, a mom and dad’s deep desire to meet their unborn baby, a little brother or sister holding their new sibling with such pride.

I am humbled, to have experienced the raw sadness in a family….. When a father diagnosed with terminal cancer, breaths in every second during his last photo session with his precious kids and grandchildren. Seeing how quickly my children grow up, and how quickly phases pass, I came to realize the importance of capturing all these memories with no regret. Life is too precious. Having busy children myself, I know about the terrible two’s, tantrums, the need to take a brake and run –  I know that kids are all different and unique, they all need a different approach to get them to relax…my skill to make most children relax and laugh is a gift I  treasure..

MK Vision photography has a beautiful warm and cozy studio in Pretoria, perfect for newborns, babies, portraits and small families. I have a passion for natural light and enjoy Location photo sessions. I have a few locations I can recommend and we choose it together according to the style you like. I work with extremely good hair and make-up artists, and would always recommend making use of them for any session. It surely makes the effort and money spent more worthwhile.

As a former practicing Interior Designer, I can plan your family or portrait photo session in accordance with your interior spaces and together we plan a session that will compliment your living spaces and will leave you with memories on your walls and not in your drawer.
