• DO YOU DO STUDIO OR LOCATION PHOTO SESSIONS?
  I do both. I have a studio in Pretoria, and here I use a combination of natural and studio lighting. I also travel for outdoor and location photo sessions in and around Pretoria.

• DO YOU KNOW OF ANY SAFE LOCATIONS WE CAN USE AND IS THERE EXTRA COSTS INVOLVED?
  Yes I have a list of preferred locations that are safe and that I enjoy doing photoshoots at. Most locations/venues charge an extra fee per hour or for use of the venue, but I also have a few options at a minimal or no extra cost. A detailed list of venues will be e-mailed with all the info when you a book your session.

• WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST TO BOOK AN OUTDOOR SESSION?
  Best time of day for an outdoor location photo session is late afternoon because the afternoon light creates stunning photographs. During the summer months an early morning session can also be booked.

• WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS REALLY BAD BEFORE OUR PHOTO SESSION OR IF IT RAINS?
  If it rains or the weather is unpleasant to the extent that it will affect the photoshoot and quality of the photos, I will contact you asap to postpone the session to another convenient time.

• WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO A MATERNITY SESSION?
  The best time to do your maternity session is just before 35 weeks of pregnancy. If you have a high risk pregnancy or if you carry twins, we would do the session earlier.

• WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO A NEWBORN SESSION AND HOW DO I BOOK IF I AM PLANNING A NORMAL BIRTH OR IF I AM UNSURE OF THE DUE-DATE?
  Your newborn session is best done within the first 12 days of your baby’s birth, as this is the time when they are most sleepy and it is easier to get them into different poses. If you are unsure of the birth date, you book, pay deposit and give me the expected due date. I will leave a slot open for you and as soon as you are sure of the birth date or once baby is born with a normal delivery, you phone me to confirm the date and time or arrange an alternative date.

• DOES THE NEWBORN SESSION INCLUDE SIBLINGS?
  Yes please! I include the father and the brothers and sisters. The newborn session includes a time slot with the family and then of baby alone when they are sleeping.

• HOW DO I BOOK AND DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
  If you want to book, send me a detailed e-mail with the following:
  – Type of photoshoot
  – Date you are looking at
  – Are you flexible during the week to do you photo session or only on a Saturday?
  – Studio or location?
  – How many people will be attending the shoot? I will then let you know if I have an opening for the date requested or let you know what alternative dates I have open. I require a 50% deposit together with your Booking Form, in order for me to book the date and time for you.
